rough week...

I'm in recovery mode.  Trying to rest with all the 'to do' things staring me in the face.  Ended up not working Monday or Tuesday and 4 hours each Wednesday - Friday.  Probably should have stayed home, but in a way I think it helped, too.  I got to do a mindless type repetitive task that settled me a little.

Sucks to use up the hard saved PTO this way.  If I was actually enjoying my time away, it would be ok!  As it is, I've done very little other than try to sleep and breathe.

Yesterday was the first I felt like actually doing a little, so I wove off the warp on the blue Union and now I have a naked loom.  I then sat and tied the last of the red runner warp and here they are, ready to be tagged and taken to the store.

This Christmassy material has some added blue- makes it unique.

I got two runners from this tablecloth... it had some metalic gold thread in it, and looks nice except this man made fiber has a tendency to fray out.  I might be doing some barber work on these, they are a little shaggy in places.

I'm partial to this runner, it's a little softer and more 'country' and could be used in many different places.

A large red tablecloth ended up being three runners of various sizes.  It's always a little tough to figure out when to stop and start a new runner - I'm not sure what would be 'too big' for someone to use...

And last, I have a cute little baby runner :)  End of the warp, and a small ball of leftover strips.  I'm sure someone has a cute little table that this sweetie will fit just right on!

And now to decide on the next warp.  I've still got tableclothes.  I think I just stick with them and get through those.  I have the warp colors picked out and put onto the loom, now to just find the energy to get to beaming it on.

Not sure where I'm going to find that energy.  This last 10 days have taken alot out of me.  I'm used to doing it all alone, but there were times I wished for someone to take care of me.  Still do.  But tomorrow brings another work week and I'm about out of PTO.  So I guess it's time to take a deep breath, now that I can again- kinda, and get going.

All for now,  JULIE

Runners look great! I envy you your Blue Union. I have several looms and do not need any more, but I have always loved seeing pictures of it. They are not common in our area here in NC mountains.
Hope you get to feeling better very soon!
